Directions to Training For Travel

From the North – either A1 or M6 then start from point 1 below

From the South – either M6 or M56 then start from point 1 below

1. Join the M62 heading towards Manchester.

2. Exit M62 at junction 12 onto M60

3. Continue onto M60 Stretford by-pass

4. Exit M60 at junction 17 Whitefield

5. Take the A56 towards Whitefield and Bury – this is Bury New Road which runs into Manchester Road

6. Travel down this road for approximately four miles towards Bury

7. You will see Holy Cross College on your right hand side; approximately a quarter of a mile further along you need to follow the road right into Knowsley Street. You are now in Bury.

8. The Town hall will be further up on your left as you approach a set of traffic lights.

9. Turn left at the lights, keep in the left lane and take the second turning on the left into Tenterden Street.

10. The Old Court House is on the right hand side as you enter Tenterden Street.  There is street parking available.

By Bus:

Bury Town Centre has a large bus station which is a 5 minute walk to the office.

By Train:

Bury is served by the Metrolink which is directly accessible from Manchester City Centre and takes approximately 25 minutes from Manchester Piccadilly Train Station to Bury Station.

By Air:

Manchester Airport is approximately 25 miles from Training For Travel. There are links via bus and train as mentioned above.
