Relevant to: Everyone selling holidays

Objectives: To help staff convert enquiries to bookings and develop selling skills that can be put into practice immediately.

Selling Skills - Higher

Relevant to: Anyone wanting to expand upon and develop the techniques learnt on Selling Skills - Foundation

Objectives: The advanced sales programme has been designed to re-enforce existing sales techniques to maximise all sales opportunities within the sales environment. To develop further the skills and techniques introduced throughout the ‘Selling Skills’ course.

Duration: 1 full day group training

 

Service Excellence - Foundation

Relevant to: Anyone dealing with internal customers (suppliers and colleagues) and external customers (consumers)

Objectives: To increase staff’s knowledge and understanding of customer service excellence and the impact it has on the business environment. To learn, understand and apply effective customer service techniques.

Duration: 1 full day group training

 

Service Excellence - Higher

Relevant to: Anyone dealing with internal customers (suppliers and colleagues) and external customers (consumers)

Objectives: To increase candidates’ knowledge and understanding of customer service excellence including effective monitoring, evaluation and improving service delivery.

Telephone Techniques

Relevant to: Anyone dealing with internal customers (suppliers and colleagues) and external customers (consumers) over the telephone.

Objectives: To increase candidates’ skills, knowledge and understanding of telephone techniques including effective organisation and call handling.

Destinations Training

Relevant to: Anyone who would like to develop their understanding of travel destinations.

Objectives: To develop knowledge of particular destinations including geography, time zones, culture, attractions and resorts.

Duration: 1 full day group training / on-line courses

 

Management Development

Relevant to: Managers within the travel industry

Objectives: Over a series of 3 days, candidates will develop their management techniques

 

Workshop 1 - The Nature of Managerial Work - 1 day

This workshop focuses on the nature of managerial work and what managers do.  It will cover the principles of management, defining roles and managing activities and people.

 

Workshop 2 - Team Management - 1 day

This workshop focuses on the nature and importance of work groups/teams, communication, team roles and behaviours of individual members

 

Workshop 3 - People and Performance Management - 1 day

This workshop focuses on individual differences including diversity, styles of learning and motivations, objective setting and managing and improving performance.

Stand alone courses are charged at a daily rate of £750, although higher level courses such as Management are charged at £950 per day.

Training For Travel has a strict £200 cancellation fee for courses cancelled within 4 weeks of delivery to cover costs incurred by our business.
