What is a work-based programme?

Our programmes are built around a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) which is a work based qualification which assess the skills and knowledge people have and need to perform their job role effectively. We will also include any additional training you require for all your staff FREE OF CHARGE,

Is it really FREE?

Yes!! Our programmes are funded by the Government and is therefore available FREE of charge (limited restrictions apply) to any new or existing employees in the UK. Once we access this funding for our work-based learning programmes we can provide all the other services in our portfolio to our customers FREE of charge too.

What does a work based qualification involve?

Learners will build a portfolio of work-based evidence which includes observations, product evidence, witness testimonies, questions and answers and discussion. They may also complete multiple choice exams, assignments and training days - depending on the programme you design with our team.

What support is given to the learners?

An appointed Assessor will visit your people at their place of work at pre-arranged, regular intervals and will assign personalised action plans of work to complete. They are also contactable in between visits, for any help and advice that may be required. Learners whose programme includes training days will also have contact with their trainer for support before and after the session. All our learners also have access to our OLLIE courses available on-line in a secure password protected environment.

When and where is the training done?

Our work-based programmes are delivered one-to-one at the learner’s place of work however group training can be delivered either at TFT’s training rooms, your company offices or any other convenient, appropriate venue. The frequency of training and assessment visits is negotiated with the Employer on an individual basis.

What are the benefits of completing a work-based programme?

An NVQ establishes good all round knowledge, understanding and confidence in the job your people are required to do.  They will receive a nationally recognised qualification for being effective, knowledgeable and efficient  in their job role and our programmes are proven to improve sales, retention and morale.

Why should we use TFT?
