Induction
Once you have decided you would like to
complete a programme with us, and have been given permission from your
employer, a Training For Travel assessor will come and induct you onto the
programme.
At this meeting you will learn a little
bit more about your programme and about Training For Travel. You can ask any
questions you may have and we will ask you to complete some paperwork so that
we can register you for your qualifications.
Whilst you are on a programme with Training For Travel, you can contact your assessor or our head office for advice and support at any time during business hours.
Monthly Development Visits
You will be assigned an assessor who
will visit you at work approximately once a month. During these visits your
assessor will discuss your progress with you and you will work towards an
individual learning plan to guide you through your programme. These visits will
also be where you complete a large amount of your qualification through
discussion with your assessor about what you’ve been doing at work and also
through observations of you in action from your assessor.
Completing Your Qualification
Your qualification will take between 6
to 11 months to complete. Once you have achieved all the components of your
programme your assessor will discuss your next steps with you and your
employer. This could be completing another qualification at a higher level or
continuing your education at a college or university. You will also receive
your certificates to confirm you have completed the qualifications.
